General Information 

CME Accreditation

Accreditation will be applied for at the European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (EACCME). This accreditation will be endorsed by the European Union of Medical Specialists (UEMS) ensuring that the CME credits awarded to the participants are recognized by the national medical authorities who have agreed to co-operate in this European system. EACCME credits are recognized by the American Medical Association towards the Physician’s Recognition Award (PRA) & The Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. The previous THNO meeting was accredited with 12 CME Credits. 

Venue

The 6th THNO congress will be held in 4 star The Meridien Hotel, Nice, France, www.lemeridiennice.comLocated close to the city center and a short distance from Nice Airport, the hotel is ideally placed to provide guests with easy access to the entire city.

Climate 

Nice has a Mediterranean climate with dry hot summers and mild winters.The month of November offers sun with temperatures daily highs decreasing from 20°C to 15°C over the course of the month.

Exhibition & sponsored symposia

A targeted group of biotechnical and pharmaceutical will be invited to organize a sponsored symposium and or exhibit their products and services. 

Language

The official congress language will be English. No simultaneous translation will be available. 

Letter of invitation

The organizers will be pleased to send a letter of invitation to any individual requesting one, once their registration form and fee have been received. It is to be understood that such an invitation is intended to help potential participants raise travel funds or obtain a visa. It is not a commitment on the part of the congress to provide any financial support. Applications have to be received by the conference secretariat before 1 October 2017. A refused visa application is no reason for refund. 

Insurance

In registering for the 6th Trends in Head and Neck Oncology delegates agree that neither the organization nor the congress agency Congress Care is responsible for individual medical, travel or personal insurance. Delegates are requested to arrange their own travel and health insurance. The organizers cannot assume liability for changes in the program due to external circumstances. 

Timing

The congress will start on Thursday 2 November 2017 13.00 hrs with welcome and session 1. The congress will end at noon Saturday 4 November 2017.
